為加強對會員服務與意見交流，將於今年（2024年）8月27日(二)上午舉辦CONCERT Open Future Communication焦點論壇8，邀請國內外圖資領域及相關產業專家分享學術傳播新知，聚焦領域發展重點，讓圖書館員跟對趨勢，掌握先機。

本次焦點論壇主題為「圖書館員與AI素養」。生成式人工智慧的應用在各行各業如火如荼展開，在校園中亦不例外。學生使用AI工具輔助完成作業、研究者利用AI工具協助研究發想、研究論文的完成或是教學跟批改作業，大量的AI工具在校園中被使用。在日常館務運作及服務中，圖書館及館員早已嘗試納入新的技術，圖書館在這波數位轉型浪潮中也必須跟上腳步，借力AI時代的發展，進一步提升館內管務運作及服務，並順應潮流提供相對應的資訊利用教育。

本次論壇邀請國立臺灣師範大學圖書資訊學研究所特聘教授柯皓仁博士分享的主題為從AI在圖書館的應用討論館員應具備的AI知能。柯博士將從AI在圖書館的應用、AI應用在圖書館會產生的議題，最後聚焦在館員應具備的AI知能。第二場演講是新加坡管理大學(SMU)圖書館數位創新館員Ms. Samantha Seah，Samantha將分享SMU如何透過思考資訊素養與AI素養的異與同以及理解AI工具的運作機制後，進一步在AI相關議題上提供校園內不同角色使用者支援的實務經驗。

Panel Session 1 AI Competencies for Librarians: Insights from AI Applications in Libraries
With the advent of the AI era, it is an opportunity for libraries to further move towards becoming "smart libraries," utilizing AI to enhance both their internal operations and user services. In this presentation, the speaker will introduce AI algorithms, various AI applications in libraries, issues that must be considered when applying AI in libraries, and finally focus on the AI competencies librarians should possess.

Panel Session 2 Deconstructing AI Literacy for Librarians
In this presentation, the speaker will share ways we can think about AI literacy - how it is similar and dissimilar from traditional information literacy, what we need to know about the mechanics of AI tools, and how SMU Libraries support the different users within the university in navigating the issues around artificial intelligence.
